Ian Moore has been a fiddler in Western North Carolina for over a decade. During this time the has explored a wide range of acoustic music styles: old timey ballads, blues, bluegrass, rags and reels, hornpipes and hoedowns, polkas, waltzes, gospel, swing jazz, cajun and irish tunes, old honkeytonk numbers, jugband pieces, rockabilly, songs about love, trains and chickens.
We’ve moved the ‘Music in the Mountains’ free Saturday concerts from the train depot to Riverfront Park. The newly named ‘Tunes on the Tuck’ location has a large lawn for music-lovers with a covered pavilion for the entertainers. Enjoy sitting at one of the riverside picnic tables, or bring a lawn chair or blanket for the grass. The whole family will enjoy this relaxed, evening event. We’ve got local and regional favorites playing everything from old-time country to bluegrass, Celtic, mountain music, beach music, rock and roll and more. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the local sounds while enjoying the evening in beautiful downtown Bryson City.
